Here's some good news for you ATLUS RPG fans out there. Previously slated for a June 21st release, Shin Megami Tensei V: Vengeance has been moved up by a week, and will now be launching on June 14th instead!
In case you missed it, Shin Megami Tensei V: Vengeance is an enhanced port of Shin Megami Tensei V originally released on the Nintendo Switch. Vengeance improves on some gameplay features, as well as adding a brand new side-story for players to experience.
Among the new features in SMTV: Vengeance is the previously mentioned "Canon of Vengeance", a new storyline that follows in similar steps to the original, but deviates halfway through the story and has a completely different outcome to the "Canon of Creation" featured in the original game.
Battle systems, Demon Fusions, and Exploration have all seen overhauls, which ATLUS hopes will make the game feel fresh even to players who had previously played SMTV on the Switch system.
Shin Megami Tensei V: Vengeance will launch on Steam on June 14th, it has full controller support and system requirements that the Steam Deck should easily handle, so we should be able to enjoy this title on the go!
