Buckle up for a driving adventure like no other when Heading Out slides its way onto Steam on May 7th. This narrative driving game with rogue-lite elements, inspired by the likes of Thelma & Louise and Vanishing Point is sure to take you for a ride. With the police on your tail, travel across the country, where every turn you take has consequences.

This looks like an adrenaline-fueled adventure to me! Requiring players to plan out their route across the United States, and then make decisions as they meet colorful characters, treacherous hazards, and high-speed chases. Or you can forget the whole planning thing and just see how far you can get!

Depending on the decisions you make, you'll have to deal with things such as fuel consumption, the condition of your car, and how badly the cops want you behind bars. Will you make it across America?

Heading Out launches on Steam on May 7th. It has full controller support, and although the system requirements listed are currently quite high, we hope they're an overestimation, as they are a little beyond what the Steam Deck can usually handle.
