Begin the journey of a cult leader today with the ‘Worship’ demo on Steam and experience the pleasures of devotion and destruction!

In a twisted, eldritch spin on leadership, Chasing Rats’ new demo of Worship lets you kick off your very own end-of-the-world cult. With followers more cheerful than they have any right to be, Worship serves up a heady mix of devotion, gore, and unholy zeal. If you've ever thought, "Hey, I'd be great at summoning unspeakable horrors," here's your chance to prove it. The demo dropped on Steam as part of the Save & Sound online music festival, rock on!

You play as a solitary cult leader in this gruesome roguelike, charged with assembling a flock that will joyfully face death and beyond. Whether it's resurrecting you with their life force or purging annoying heretics, your adorable, bloodthirsty followers will do it all. As they follow your divine shepherding, they will ascend (or descend) to greater heights of worship, and with each ritual sacrifice, you will hasten the end of days!

Although this demo is only available for solo play, the full game will have four-player co-op when it launches in early 2025.

So, go ahead and test your faith—or, you know, spill some followers’ blood—with the Steam demo. Waiting for the end of days has never been more exciting!
