The latest trailer for Dragon Ball: Sparking! Zero was recently shown at DRAGON BALL GAMES BATTLE HOUR 2024. That is quite a mouthful, and is apparently a thing!

The trailer, which comes in at over 2 minutes long, explores the many forms that Goku and Vegeta can take in the upcoming game. In fact, there are over 20 different forms shown in the trailer, can you spot them all?

The trailer highlights the true power of these 2 Saiyans going to battle. With the ability to destroy environments and change the battle landscape with devastating Ki-powered energy blasts.

Dragon Ball: Sparking! Zero uses Unreal Engine 5 to full effect to bring the anime visuals to life, in vast and realistic landscapes, contrasted with characters in keeping with the show's anime style.

I've never followed the Dragon Ball franchise, nor played any of the games in the series, but I have to admit, the visuals and the way they've brought the anime style to Unreal Engine do really impress me. I would love to try a demo of this game just to see how it's made and the large environments the game takes place in.

Dragon Ball: Sparking! Zero is coming soon on Steam. We don't have any word on potential Steam Deck compatibility, such as controller support or the game's system requirements, but as there's likely some time before the game releases, we're sure we'll get that info nearer the time.
