Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder's Revenge is already such a blast to play, so when the Dimension Shellshock DLC was announced, I was extremely excited to get in with the new content. Today, we not only have a release date, but the second playable character has officially been announced!
The new character, Outlaw Karai, is a former Foot Clan member that turned good and will fight with the Turtles against their enemies. Utilize her signature snark and deadly ninjutsu to power through your foes. On top of that, we officially have a release date for the DLC: August 31st.
The Dimension Shellshock DLC, which will be $8, will add in a brand new survival game mode, some new beats, and new alternative color schemes for the playable fighters. With Outlaw Karai, we will also have a second playable character, Usagi Yojimbo, who also joins the fight.
A new free update will also be released on August 31st and will add in Custom Game options, allowing you to mix and match 11 modifiers and new visual filters to make the game feel fresh.
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder's Revenge is out now on Steam and can be purchased for $24.99. The game has a native Linux build and is rated Verified for the Steam Deck. The game plays amazingly on the device though and I can happily say it is one you should have in your libraries!
