Aniimo dw-Proton 11.0-13

If you’re looking to play anime gacha games on the Steam Deck, then I highly recommend getting dwproton. This community made a fork of the Proton layer that focuses on including a bunch of early fixes for these games. Recently, they pushed out patches to help with Wuthering Waves, but with this one, we get some fixes for the newly released Aniimo and Goddess of Victory: NIKKE.

This new update brings all of its components to the latest bleeding-edge Proton Experimental update, but it also includes some fixes. Aniimo will no longer crash in the lobby menu, while Goddess of Victory: NIKKE will no longer get an ACE (anti-cheat) error after its latest update.

The Proton layer can be downloaded via ProtonPlus, which can be downloaded through the Discover Store in Desktop Mode on the Steam Deck.

dw-Proton 11.0-13 Update Changelog:

  • Updated Proton, Wine and components to latest Proton Experimental (experimental-bleeding-edge-11.0-20260910)
  • Imported all games patches that have now been upstreamed to Wine 11.18
  • Imported new winewayland changes from latest Proton-EM
  • Fixed Aniimo crashing in lobby menu, working on a better fix to send upstream
  • Fixed Goddess of Victory: NIKKE ACE error after latest update (#55)
    • This should also apply to other games if/when they get similar updates
