The Stone of Madness is an intriguing game, and to cast some more light on the situation, Tripwire Interactive is sharing 5 character vignettes that help us get to know the playable characters who have been imprisoned in this Spanish Monastery against their will. They've also opened up pre-orders for the game before the January 28th launch, starting at $29.99 for the Standard Edition, and $34.99 for the Special Edition, which includes a digital artbook with over 60 pages, and a 24-song OST. Plus, anyone who pre-orders the game will get a 10% discount.

Here's one of the character vignette trailers, but if you want to check out all 5, you can head to this playlist.

The characters in The Stone of Madness range from Amelia the rogue, who can sneak into areas and steal goods, to Eduardo, capable of using his strength to navigate obstacles. You'll have to be careful though, each of the characters in the game has their own unique fears that they will have to manage in order to escape.

The Stone of Madness will launch on January 28th on Steam and has already been Steam Deck Verified by Valve's testing. You can download the demo of the game right now if you want to check it out before release.
