Steam Deck Verified/Playable Highlights 11/6/23 - 11/12/23

This last week had an insane amount of awesome new Steam Deck Verified and Playable games that joined the ranks. There are some great upcoming games here, like Persona 5 Tactica, and recent releases like RoboCop and Like a Dragon Gaiden. Here are the 11 highlights we found from last week's new badge holders:

Verified or Playable games don't automatically mean they work amazing out of the box. Some of these games may require work to optimize and play well. Here are our thoughts on the Verified system and how it can be fixed.

Steam Deck Verified/Playable Highlights 11/6/23 - 11/12/23

Persona 5 Tactica (Verified)

After a strange incident, the Phantom Thieves wander into a bizarre realm where its citizens are living under tyrannical oppression. Surrounded by a military group named Legionnaires, they find themselves in grave danger until a mysterious revolutionary named Erina rescues them and offers an enticing deal in exchange for their help. Dive into tactical combat scenarios, similar to Fire Emblem, and figure out the truth behind this world.

The game will be released on November 16th and can be pre-purchased now for $59.99. It is rated Verified.

RoboCop: Rogue City (Playable)

Become the legendary part man, part machine, all cop hero and deliver justice in Old Detroit. Take part in this first-person shooter, featuring an original storyline based on the films, and utilize over 20 weapons to eradicate criminals throughout the adventure. You will be able to use your cyborg strength and cybernetic abilities, both of which can be upgraded, and explore the open areas while maintaining public order.

The game is $49.99 and rated Playable due to some small in-game text.

Like a Dragon Gaiden: The Man Who Erased His Name (Verified)

ERASE YOUR PAST TO PROTECT YOUR FUTURE Once a legendary yakuza, Kazuma Kiryu faked his own death and abandoned his name for the sake of protecting his family. Now, he is thrust into conflict by a mysterious figure attempting to drive him out of hiding.

The game is $49.99 and rated Verified.

Turok 3: Shadow of Oblivion (Verified)

Finish the hunt in this epic finale to the Turok Trilogy. Pick up immediately after the events of Turok 2: Seeds of Evil, with dual protagonists Joseph and Danielle Fireseed, of the Turok family tree, as they battle the titular antagonist Oblivion and its followers, the Flesh Eaters.

The game is releasing on November 30th and is rated Verified.

Slay the Princess (Playable)

You're on a path in the woods, and at the end of that path is a cabin. And in the basement of that cabin is a Princess. You're here to slay her. If you don't, it will be the end of the world. She will do everything in her power to stop you. She'll charm, and she'll lie, and she'll promise you the world, and if you let her, she'll kill you a dozen times over. You can't let that happen. Don't forget, the fate of the world rests on your shoulders.

The game is $17.99 and rated Playable due to some small in-game text.

Ghostrunner 2 (Playable) (SDHQ Review)

Blood will run in Ghostrunner 2, a hardcore FPP slasher set in a post-apocalyptic cyberpunk future. Become the ultimate cyber ninja and prepare for epic boss fights, improved skills, an interactive story, new game modes, and captivating synthwave soundtrack.

The game is $39.99 and rated Playable due to small in-game text.

Turbo Overkill (Verified) (SDHQ Review)

Turbo Overkill 1.0 is finally here! Chainsaw legs, arms, bikes--chainsaws everywhere! You'll need them to clean up Paradise, run by Syn (a super AI), a trio of bounty hunters (Maw, Ripper & Jazz), and about 150,000 augmented cyberpunks. Apogee's best FPS since Duke Nukem 3D. Good hunting, Sir!

The game is on sale until November 21st for $19.99 and rated Verified.

Severed Steel (Verified)

Severed Steel is a single-player FPS featuring a fluid stunt system, destructible voxel environments, loads of bullet time, and a unique one-armed protagonist. It's you, your trigger finger, and a steel-toed boot against a superstructure full of bad guys. Chain together wall runs, dives, flips, and slides to take every last enemy down.

The game is $24.99 and rated Verified.

The Bunny Graveyard (Verified)

The Bunny Graveyard is an episodic horror adventure about a bunny who seeks to find the horrifying truth behind her existence. Immerse yourself in a world of pixel art inspired by GBA and NDS graphics, while unraveling an enthralling story that keeps you hooked!

The game is $6.99 and rated Verified.

RAILGRADE (Verified)

RAILGRADE is a train resource management game! Construct dense vertical railroads, build cities, construct vast factory chains with train automation! Restore an off world colony's economy all in the story driven campaign!

The game is $29.99 and rated Verified.

Invincible Presents: Atom Eve (Verified)

Become Atom Eve and take control of your own path as one of the most powerful superheroes in the Invincible universe! Unravel a mystery and balance the dangers and responsibilities of being a superhero with the relatable challenges of everyday life.

The game will be released on November 14th and is rated Verified.

And those are the highlights for this last week! There were some amazing games from the week before too, including Worldless, Salt and Sacrifice, and Wargroove 2. There's no shortage of games to play on your Steam Deck, that's for sure.
