A new Steam Deck Beta Client update was released with some big fixes for the new Pyrowave codec. The on-screen keyboard not popping up in non-Steam games, and the controller glyphs have been fixed for the Xbox Elite Controller paddle buttons. We also had a few fixes for the Pyrowave codec, including fixing occasional flickering, a GPU memory leak, and a fix to avoid contention with the game's GPU usage.
You can download the update yourself in the System Settings on the Steam Deck. Make sure your update channel is set to Beta or Preview.

- Fixed the on-screen keyboard not popping up in non-Steam games after toggling wifi or suspending the machine
Steam Input
- Fixed the glyphs shown for the Xbox Elite Controller paddle buttons
Remote Play: Pyrowave
- Fixed occasional flickering when streaming to Linux and SteamOS clients
- Switched encoding to use the compute queue to avoid contention with game GPU usage
- Fixed GPU memory leak on the client when frequently changing resolutions
