I have seen lots of interesting ways to customize the Steam Deck, both by using hardware and software. It makes each one feel unique, and some even provide a completely different experience than the stock Deck. I have seen a lot of amazing themes, but for those who love the PS Vita and miss that interface, you will love this theme.

Steam Deck PS Vita Theme

Over on Twitter, user @Hooandee is creating a theme for the Steam Deck that completely mimics the PS Vita interface. It t comes with the bubbles, their own image once selected, and we can even bend the page down to go back, just like the Vita. Seeing the small video on Hooandee’s page invoked so many deep feelings of nostalgia, and I need it.

Looking at the rest of Hooandee’s feed, it appears they are working on multiple different projects, including other themes that mimic other console interfaces, like the Xbox 360 dashboard or PS5, and a Decky plugin. It looks incredible, and I can’t wait to try it for myself and see how it can change how the device feels altogether.
