Silly Polly Beast is a bizarre survival horror game that is more than just the daft title. It launched around Halloween and is getting a pretty solid reception, and the first major patch for the game has just dropped.

The Steam Deck's default resolution will now correctly go to 1280x720, which should start getting it towards that Verified badge. Other patch changes for Silly Polly Beast include new difficulty settings, new vsync framerate settings, a slew of balance changes, and plenty of bug fixes. The balance changes look rather nice, especially the improved stamina and the final boss being a little better balanced. Overall, this is a great patch and should smooth out some of the rough edges.

Silly Polly Beast is $19.99 on Steam and rated Playable due to small in-game text, an incorrect default resolution, and showing incorrect controller icons.
