Valve released a new Proton Experimental update with 2 new fixes. These are fixing the EA Play launcher flickering on Deck, as well as fixing Quake 3/Arena displaying weird textures over the menu:

  • Fix the new EA launcher flickering on Steam Deck in handheld mode.
  • Fix Quake III: Arena and Quake III: Team Arena displaying weird texture over the menu.
