A trailer for Bandai Namco's new PvPvE extraction shooter, SYNDUALITY Echo of Ada, was shown at the Tokyo Game Show (TGS) this year. Set before the SYNDUALITY Noir anime, the trailer introduces us to the game's key characters, as well as a glimpse into its dystopian setting and a brief look at gameplay towards the end.
Assume the role of a "Drifter" (a Mech pilot) and uncover the mysteries of Amasia, an underground haven where people sought sanctuary after poisonous rain wiped out most of humanity.
With your Magus, an AI companion who provides combat abilities and direction, scavenge for AO Crystals, a rare resource from which Mech pilots make their living. You won't be the only ones hunting for these Crystals, though, so you'll need to be on your guard to bring home the loot.
SYNDUALITY Echo of Ada promises both cosmetic and functional customization of your Mechs, which are also known as Cradle Coffins. Allowing players to alter their Mechs to fit their own playstyles.
SYNDUALITY Echo of Ada will launch on Steam in the future. Hopefully, a release date reveal isn't far off. Although the Steam store page says "Single-Player," it has been confirmed to be a PvPvE third-person extraction shooter with multiplayer features.
