Mai: Child of Ages is a surprisingly fun adventure game that I’m enjoying more than I expected. While it is playable on the Steam Deck, there were some issues with the interface that held it back, but a small hotfix patch has fixed this problem.

Patch 1.0.1 is a very small update as these things go, but they are still important for Mai: Child of Ages. The first fix that we’ve already mentioned is the GUI fixes on the Steam Deck, and while the patch notes don’t go into any detail on what got fixed, this should still improve the experience. The other change is fixed translations for Chinese.

Mai: Child of Ages is 20% off at $11.99 until September 26, so if you want to pick this up cheaper, this week is the best time!
