Since releasing back in April 2022, Immortal Life has had a pretty positive reception from the community. But the time has finally come for it to reach its full release. On January 18th, Immortal Life will reach Version 1.0! This update will expand quest lines and add new story content to the game, as well as the long-awaited "roommate system".

After the destruction of the Guiyun Sect, the Taoist community must rebuild their homes and cultivate the land to restore their way of life. Traverse this expansive land, battle exotic creatures such as elemental lizards and electric jellyfish, but above all, restore your clan and its strength by unlocking new tools and spells as you forge bonds of friendship, recruit new members, and find out what caused the Guiyun Sect's destruction.

Immortal Life is available on Steam for $16.99, with a 20% launch discount from when the game leaves Early Access on January 18th. It is currently rated "Very Positive" by players and is graded as "Playable" on the Steam Deck, due to having some hard-to-read in-game text and sometimes requiring the on-screen keyboard.

The game does have full controller support and support for cloud saves, although the community has reported some issues with both of these, namely the default controls are a little difficult to use, and cloud saves were not working in the past, these issues will hopefully be fixed in Version 1.0. Immortal Life also has fairly modest system requirements, so performance on the Steam Deck should be fine.
