Wagotabi: A Japanese Journey is probably the best Japanese learning game on the market that combines the educational aspect with a well-made RPG. It launched this summer, and the immersion really drew me in. A new hotfix patch is out now, too, fixing a rather irritating issue on the Deck.

The patch only has this one change, but it is a vital one nonetheless. It solves a resolution issue with the Steam Deck that was introduced in the previous update due to the way the system detected Linux. While it did not make the game unplayable, it is nice to see this get fixed, as Wagotabi is a wonderful experience for anyone interested in learning Japanese. It’s more immersive than Duolingo!
