This last week had a ton of great new Steam Deck Verified/Playable games join the ranks, it was hard to nail down the best ones! Mineko's Night Market, Death Must Die, and Wandering Sword are some of the great games to have gotten the badges, but there are still plenty more! Here are our 11 recommendations to check out:

The game is $6.99 and is in Early Access on Steam. It is rated Playable due to small in-game text.

Beat Hazard 3 (Verified)


Are you ready to explore your music collection mapped as a stunning galaxy of wonders? Experience your music collection as never before with this intense music driven twin stick shooter. Each of your songs will have its own unique ebb and flow based on the music.

The game is $18.99 and is rated Verified.

While the Iron's Hot (Verified) (SDHQ Review)

Kona 2: Brume (Verified) (SDHQ Review)

Showgunners (Verified)


As a contestant on a high stakes reality game show of the future, you must survive a dangerous urban environment packed with traps, confounding puzzles, and heavily armed psychopaths. Turn-based combat in hand crafted levels, built for entertainment.

GUNHEAD (Verified)


Gunhead is a fast paced strategic roguelike FPS where you take the role of a pirate mech with a gun for a head, looting derelict spaceships filled with monstrous drones made out of bone and steel. Sequel to the 2d roguelite Cryptark.

Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 4 (Playable)

The latest opus in the acclaimed STORM series is taking you on a colourful and breathtaking ride. Take advantage of the totally revamped battle system and prepare to dive into the most epic fights you’ve ever seen!

The game is $19.99 and rated Playable due to needing to change the resolution manually.

Wandering Sword (Playable) (SDHQ Review)

Wandering Sword is a Chinese martial-arts RPG where you play a young swordsman caught up in a feud and nearly dies. Escaping the event puts you on the path of pursuing the highest form of martial arts and exploring the pugilistic world to become the great hero you are always destined to be.

The game is $24.99 and rated Playable due to needing a community controller configuration, small in-game text, and needing to set the correct display resolution.

Kingdoms and Castles (Verified)


Kingdoms and Castles is a city-building simulation game about growing a kingdom from a tiny hamlet to a sprawling city and imposing castle. Make trade agreements, alliance, and war with neighboring AI controlled kingdoms. Each villager and resource is individually simulated.

The game is $14.99 and has a native Linux build. It is rated Verified.

These are some great games, with a lot that I personally play now! Wandering Sword is one of my favorites, but GUNHEAD and Wargroove 2 are a ton of fun too. You can't go wrong with any of these awesome choices, though!
