Prepare to conquer your way across England in your quest for revenge in Sons of Valhalla, a 2D side-scrolling Action game, with base-building elements. Have you got what it takes to take on the Jarl and rescue your beloved? Check out the Launch Trailer below to see what's in store for you:

You are Thorald Olavson, a Viking warrior who is determined to track down the Jarl who burnt down his home and kidnapped his beloved. With the support of Odin, you must fight your way across England, establishing strongholds, gathering your resources, and laying siege to any who oppose you.

In Sons of Valhalla, you will assemble your army, build siege engines to destroy enemy fortifications, acquire runes to gain the upper hand in battle and face off against key leaders in 1-on-1 combat, and just maybe, you'll reach the Jarl and rescue your beloved.

Sons of Valhalla is available to buy on Steam now for $17.99 at a 10% discount until April 19th, then the price will revert to $19.99. The game hasn't been graded for Steam Deck compatibility by Valve yet, but it does have full controller support and modest system requirements, so it seems likely that the Steam Deck could run it.
