of the Devil looks like quite an intriguing visual novel. You play as Morgan, a Defense Attorney with great instincts, who takes on a case to defend a man who has been accused of shooting six people through the heart. I love the neon-esque visuals in this futuristic world, and it sounds like an intriguing murder mystery to enjoy, especially on the Steam Deck.

The new update includes a bunch of adjustments that should help playability on the Steam Deck. The game will now automatically detect and use their recommended Steam Deck settings, the size of some menus has been increased, font size has been increased, full controller support is now implemented, and there are no more references to mouse and keyboard controls and glyphs when using the Deck. This was enough to get the game its Verified badge, and that's awesome.
While the bulk of the update focused on the Steam Deck adjustments, there were some parts of the patch that will help everyone. Tutorials are now provided correctly during episode 0, some grammar and spelling errors have been fixed, there's a new settings option to turn off Credit Gain/Loss animations, and the ability to set your resolution to aspect ratios that result in graphical issues has been removed.
You can check out the full changelog for the update via their Steam Community Post.

of the Devil is free to play on Steam and is rated Verified.
