Little Kitty, Big City surprised me for how enjoyable it was, and while it was always solid on the Steam Deck, a couple of things in the controls held it back for me. While the game has been out for over a year now, the sandbox simulator is still getting updates, with the massive Purrfect patch that launching last week with brand new content and character customization.

However, using this new feature on the Steam Deck was a little fiddly. Luckily, the developers were quick to respond and launched a hotfix, including virtual keyboard support for the Steam Deck when using the new customizer option.

There are also a couple of new bugfixes to solve collision issues from the new big areas, which is always nice. It is a nice little update that shows the developers are still hard at work on improving Little Kitty, Big City. The game has a chunky 40% discount until September 3, making it the perfect time to pick it up.
