We reported on it a few days ago, but the goal set out by Capcom for those playing the Kunitsu-Gami: Path of the Goddess demo has been reached, meaning all players will receive free Okami gifts that will be downloadable at the game's launch across all platforms, including Steam.

Before we get into what these Okami gifts are though, Capcom has just released the theme song to the game alongside a new trailer, so check it out below:

Haunting might be an accurate word to describe that song!

Here's what the singer and composer of the song had to say about it:

“The story of ‘Kunitsu-Gami: Path of the Goddess’ is a tale of battling defilement, insecurity, and fear. I hope this song will be like a talisman for you in such a battle. Please enjoy the nostalgic melody by Chikara Aoshima.”

ermhoi, singer/songwriter

“We created a song suitable by traditional Japanese children’s songs and nursery rhymes that was suitably sung by ermhoi, who has a fragile yet fantastic voice. We hope that you will be able to contemplate the chaos of this world with this music.”

Chikara Aoshima, Composer/Drummer

Now, onto those Okami gifts we spoke of...

Kunitsu-Gami players will be receiving the Amaterasu costume and weapon for Soh as well as the Waka costume for Yoshiro, plus a special Okami collab soundtrack for the game. This is because players met the challenge of obtaining 1 billion crystals and finding 15 hidden Lucky Mallets in the game's demo.

Kunitsu-Gami: Path of the Goddess is launching on Steam on July 19th, 2024. It has already received a Steam Deck Verified status before launch, so you should be good to play this one on your Steam Decks.

Those who pre-order the game will get exclusive bonuses: two Mazo Talismans (i.e., special equipment) for Soh, and a digital mini artbook containing concept art for the game.
