There have been a lot of fantastic management games, but one that has always stood out to me is Jurassic World. There's just something about managing a park and having to handle dinosaurs to make it successful that is just intriguing. Now, Jurassic World Evolution 3 has just been released, expanding the options we have with dinosaur breeding, new creative tools like terrain editing, and much more. And on top of that, the game has been released with the Steam Deck Playable badge.

Jurassic World Evolution 3

The Playable badge was chosen over the Verified one for one specific reason: Small in-game text. This makes sense because there is a lot of information that is consistently displayed. The first-time setup also needs an internet connection, but after that, it should be very playable on the Deck. The game also has full controller support, which is awesome for a management game like this.

My guess is that we should expect around 30 FPS on Low to Medium settings. The minimum system requirements are a bit beefy, with an AMD Ryzen 5 2600 CPU requirement, an NVIDIA GTX 1060 GPU requirement, and 16GB RAM. It's still within the realm of playability for the Deck, but getting the confirmation is always wonderful.

Jurassic World Evolution 3 is available now for $59.99.
