If you're looking for a new detective-based RPG, check out Inspector Schmidt - The Ebbing. It's an open-world RPG where you have to investigate the death of Bente Hansen. You have to figure out who murdered him and discover the origin of strange symbols appearing all over town. It looks like an intriguing tale, and one that should be significantly better to play on the Steam Deck after the latest patch.

Inspector Schmidt - The Ebbing

The new huge update, which releaased yesterday, includes official Steam Deck and controller support, which should make the experience so much better on the go. There aren't details as to what specific support was added for the Deck, but any kind of improvements to help play on the Steam Deck is greatly appreciated.

We also have new modes in game for easier stealth and faster skillchecks, history infos have been added, there are now more NPCs and the AI for guards have been improved, the Stamina Bar has been disabled, unusable ladders have been deleted, it's easier to find Blood Trails now, CineCams Focus has been reworked, and the years on gravestones should be displaying correctly.

You can check out the full changelog for the update via their Steam Community Post.
