Hellbreak looks like an awesome arena shooter. You go around in a closed-off arena using an arsenal of weapons, spells, and curses to control and destroy your enemies. With roguelike-esque mechanics that can modify your abilities and playstyle, and a score system to try racking up combos, it sounds like a grand time. And the latest update should make it an even better experience on the Steam Deck.

While only one part of the changelog refers directly to the Steam Deck, all of the changes here will impact it directly. There were some font and UI improvements to increase legibility, fixed sizes for input icons, and an issue was fixed to make sure leaderboards were working properly on the Deck. This should fix the game being marked as Unsupported for the Deck.
We also have some crash fixes that could happen after killing a boss, text warping problems causing overflow and unnecessary line breaks, and a problem where tooltips could appear empty if using a controller. The team is actively working on a new arena, new spells and weapons, and a fourth difficulty tier, which will be great to see.
You can check out the full changelog for the update via their Steam Community Post.

Hellbreak is available for $14.99 on Steam.
