For those who held off on jumping into Diablo 4, hoping it wouldn't be exclusive to Battle.Net, you win. Today, the store page for the game appeared on Steam, signaling a release that will see the epic Action RPG make its way to the storefront.

Set for a release on October 17th, the new entry in the Diablo series will come with support for most of its features, like achievements and inviting people to your party via the friends list. You will need to connect the game to a Battle.Net account, but after that, you will be free to roam the open world.

The release will also coincide with the new 1.2.0 patch and the Season of Blood. This is the 2nd season for the game and will bring in a new quest line, new armor with 22 vampiric powers to help diversify your build, new seasonal and world events, new endgame bosses, new cosmetics, and more! The season is free, but will come with a battle pass that costs money.
Diablo 4 can be wishlisted now on Steam now, and while there's no pricing on it yet, it will most likely be the same price as it is on Battle.Net. In this case, the base version is $69.99, the Digital Deluxe edition is $89.99, and the Ultimate Edition is $99.99.
The game already runs quite well on the Steam Deck through Battle.Net, so I can only imagine how much better it will be when it's directly through Steam!
