Devolver Digital today announced BOTSU, a team-based sports game with robots. A Steam Demo is also available for BOTSU.

Botsu

Peculiar Pixels and publisher Devolver Digital present BOTSU, an ultimate ragdolling robo-sports experience coming to PC later this year. You can compete online and also in split-screen in three different types of battlesports. Use your customizable android athlete to sprint, jump, flip, climb, breakdance, fly, and fight around the arena as you play.

The first mode is called Box-Ball, in which two teams of battle bots compete to score as many goals as possible. But it’s not just football but basketball, beachball, and Quidditch-like as well. The ball is also explosive, so it’s not good to hold it for long.

Next up is Stockpile, in which you win by stealing the other team's stock by any means necessary. It’s simple and to the point: steal as much stock as you can to win the game.

Sumo Survival is a game of survival where you need to be the last one standing to become the BOTSU champion.

BOTSU is a super fun party game for up to four players in split screen with versus battles. Moreover, you can play online in teams of four vs four and eight-player matches.

BOTSU also features tons of customization to characters and gear, to make your bot your own. You can check out the Steam demo for BOTSU on the game’s page.
