AYN Technologies has just teased its latest handheld, the Odin3. After announcing their dual-screen handheld, the Thor, just a short while ago, they've announced an upgrade to their flagship device.
So what can we likely expect from the Odin3? Well, AYN themselves haven't released any technical information on the device, but we can glean some info based on the renders they've shown, and advancements in handheld APUs in general.
We know from the teaser trailer shown below that they are using a Qualcomm chipset, as the Odin2 used a Snapdragon 8Gen2, it would be reasonable to assume the Odin3 will use a Snapdragon 8Gen3 chip.

The device is also sporting a sleeker look, with indents around the dpad and face buttons that will hopefully aid ergonomics, along with textured back grips to help with handling the device.
It also appears as though bezels around the display are reduced on the Odin3 compared to the Odin2, which had quite a visible bezel, along with a border design around the display that exaggerated the bezel.

In less interesting news, it appears the SD/TF card slot is now on the bottom of the device, rather than the top.
It would also stand to reason that the device will run Android, as has been the case with the previous Odin handhelds.

We have no idea on pricing or release date for the Odin3 yet, but the Odin2 launched at around $350-$500, depending on the model, so we would expect a similar price at launch for the Odin3. Also, AYN doesn't typically announce their devices too far in advance these days, with the Thor being announced merely a few days before pre-orders went live, so it wouldn't be unusual to see the Odin3 launch later this year.
