I really love playing RPGs on the Steam Deck, especially if they are stylized and a bit weird. YIIK: A Postmodern RPG is perfectly that. It's a weird, crazy RPG that is as captivating as it is nuts. And it's pretty solid on the Steam Deck, earning that Playable rating with only drawback being the launcher/setup tool it requires. And while this probably won't be fixed for a while, it did get a new patch that gets rid of a bug on the Steam Deck.

In a new patch released a couple of days ago, we have some minor bug fixes and improvements to the game, but there are two in particular that could help playing on the Steam Deck. We have a text offset bug that was patched out, which would unalign some of the character's names. Direct3D11 is also now the default graphics API, which may make the game more stable when playing on the Deck as well.
Outside of that, we have a couple of fixes here and there. PS4 controller support was added, the trophy for purging Entities should work as intended, and if you play the game in French or with a language that parses English decimals, the music volume should work as intended.
You can check out the changelog for this update via their Steam Community Post.

YIIK: A Postmodern RPG is available on Steam for $19.99.
