If you’re looking for an easy way to add third party launchers onto your Steam Deck or Steam Machine, NonSteamLaunchers is one of the best ways to do it. This is the script that gives us the option of installing multiple different launchers into their own prefixes, set them up with the best Proton layer, and automatically adds them to Steam. I’ve been using it ever since it was released, and today, there was a new update that finally adds the launcher that has been oddly missing along with a new feature for the Steam Machine.

NonSteamLaunchers Rockstar Launcher Update

For the launcher, we finally have support for the Rockstar Launcher. Now, we can download and install it directly to our devices. So, if you have games that are only on the Rockstar Launcher, this will be the way to play them. We also have a new feature that makes all Non-Steam games have their own LED lights for the Machine. The LED will match the game and make the bar glow accordingly.

Apart from that, there have been a bunch of other fixes add updates to approve handling and reduce errors. This includes fixes for the Epic Games scanner, EA, Itch.io, URL encoding, and some other support for the NSLGameScanner.
