Wētā Workshop's and Private Division's Tales of the Shire: A The Lord of the Rings Game is available now. The game captures the heart of The Shire and is playable on Nintendo Switch and PC via Steam.

In Tales of the Shire, you play as a Hobbit and live a cozy life in The Shire, based on The Lord of the Rings. The goal is to discover, decorate, and share every area of Middle-earth while helping the quaint town of Bywater flourish. Decorating your own Hobbit-Hole allows you to bring comfort to your home. Make sure to prepare homemade meals to share with other Hobbits. Fish in the ponds, forage for wild bounty in the peaceful forests, and start gardening. You need to trade useful items with townfolk and maintain relations that can blossom into friendships. Choose to complete the Tales or explore the world.

A launch trailer for Tales of the Shire has also been released.
