Another week, another batch of Steam Deck verified/playable games! The work of Valve is never ending and with so many games on their store to go through, it is wonderful seeing them continue on their merry way. Here are some of the highlights we found from this past week!

Note: Verified or Playable games do not automatically mean they work amazing right out-of-the-box. Some of these games still require work to optimize and play well.

Destroy All Humans! 2 - Reprobed (Playable)

DAH2RecommendedComp

Destroy All Humans! 2 - Reprobed is a remake of the original sequel that came out 16 years ago. As Crypto, a raunchy alien invader, you partner up with the very people you came to enslave to take revenge on the KGB for destroying your beloved mothership. With an arsenal of new tools and technology, an expanded open-world taking place in the 1960s, and even 2-player split-screen coop, DAH2 is a wild ride. The game is $40 on Steam and rated Playable due to needing to change graphical settings. You can view which settings we recommend on our review for the game too!

Dread Delusion (Verified)

DreadDelusion

Enter into a broken world seething with an undead curse in this open world RPG. With the freedom to create your own path through these shattered lands, you will discover interesting towns, strange forests, and dangers lurking at every turn as you decide whether you wan to heal this world or profit from it. The game is in early access and so far features 2 isles, leveling and stats, smithing and alchemy, and questing. There are planned upgrades for new isles, constructible buildings, new weapons, armor, and accessories, and much more. The game is $20 on Steam and reeks of Morrowind influence.

Besiege (Playable)

Besiege

Besiege is a physics-based building game where your goal is to build medieval siege engines to lay waste to immense fortresses and peaceful towns. Using the building blocks it provides, you will create whatever you can dream of across 54 varied levels. Worried that isn't enough? Fret not, there is also multiplayer modes and Steam Workshop support! This means community-made blocks, machines, and full levels so the fun never ends! The game is $15 on Steam and is rated Playable due to some text being small, incorrect controller icons, and needing to use a virtual keyboard to enter text.

MidnightFightExpress

Your name is Babyface, you are a former member of the criminal underworld who has been lured back into the life you once lived by a mysterious AI drone. Now, you will have to fight your way across the city, engaging in brutal combat using your street fighting techniques and the environment around you, to prevent a hostile criminal takeover. Level up and unlock more of your skill tree to further develop your signature style of fighting as you clean up the streets. The game is $20 on Steam and runs like a charm on Deck.

Disgaea 5 Complete (Verified)

Disgaea5

This one is more of a personal favorite of mine. Think about an endlessly replayable version of Fire Emblem with much heavier anime vibes and you get Disgaea. In this turn-based tactical game, level yourself up to 9999, prestiege, start over again with permanent buffs, increase your skills, level up items, master weapon types, create your own characters from scratch, it is really endless in what you can do! The game is $40 on Steam.

Cat Museum (Verified)

CatMuseum

This art style is gorgeous and cats go meow. Do you need to know more?......fine. This 2D side-scrolling puzzle-adventure game will take you through a gorgeously drawn world to help reveal the truth about your childhood. With a mischievous cat you can interact with, how could you want anything more? The game is $5 on Steam.

F1 Manager 2022 (Playable)

F1Manager22

You ready to make your mark on Formula 1? You better be! As the new boss of whichever constructor you choose, pick your roster of drivers and staff and build your team, perfect your car, and utilize your created strategy to be the best of them all with hyper-realistic simulations of official F1 races that are presented in true-to-life broadcast quality! The game is $55 on Steam and is rated Playable due to entering text with a virtual keyboard and some in-game text being small.

Rogue Legacy (Verified)

RogueLegacy

Check this game out if you enjoy roguelikes and 2D platforming combat. The sequel is out too, but this game is so good.

Turbo Golf Racing (Playable)

TurboGolfRacing

Gather your friends and get ready for this arcade-style sports racing game. With up to 8 player support, you must slam yourself into oversized golf balls and race your friends to the finish flag. With unique abilities, customization, and even wings to fly, your car will be all your own as the developers continue to add in new content with course, power ups, and cosmetics. The game is in Early Access and costs $18. It is rated Playable due to Singleplayer needing an internet connection and some in-game text being small.

And those are 10 games we recommend checking out from this recent batch of Verified/Playable games! What did you guys think?

You can also checkout our recommended from last week, which included awesome games like Punch Club and LISA!
