A new Steam Deck Beta Client update was released with a few fixes here and there. The system that manages subscribed Steam Workshop items that need to be updated has been reworked, and mouse coordinates for input-only streaming via Remote Play have been fixed. We can also now see Steam Machine and SteamOS compatibility in game pages on the Steam Deck in their own tabs.

You can download the update yourself in the System Settings on the Steam Deck. Make sure your update channel is set to Beta or Preview.

Steam Workshop

  • Re-worked system that managed what subscribed items needed to be updated.

Remote Play

  • Fixed mouse coordinates for input-only streaming
  • Fixed very low refresh rate on some systems, introduced in the last beta

Steam Machine

  • Show Steam Machine Verified information on the game capsules in home, and on the game details screen.
