I love being able to customize my Steam Deck, and there are multiple ways of doing so. One of them is a startup video, which will play whenever you boot up the Deck. While we can make our own or download ones made by the community, Steam supplies official ones created by game developers. There are some great ones already here, but a few more have been added that I feel deserve attention.

Since I last checked, we have new startup videos based on Civilization 7, Fallen Aces, and The Alters, and each of them are pretty great.

While I enjoy the theme of the Fallen Aces video, the animation and transitions for the Civilization 7 and The Alters videos are fantastic. I love how the Deck logo is formed in each of them, and I consider both of them fantastic options to use your Steam Points on.

You can get the startup movie on the Steam Point Store, and it will cost 3,000 points. You get 1 point for every 1 cent you spend, so you will get the 3,000 points required if you spend $30 on the Steam store. Once purchased, you can change the startup movie in the Customization tab in your settings.
