A new Steam Deck Beta Client update was released yesterday that focuses on the Steam Controller. There was a new firmware update to address a charging issue, and trackpad momentum changes have been reverted so there's no deadzone around the edges. There was also a fix for the Steam Controller Puck Info page that was showing the paired device's serial.
You can download the update yourself in the System Settings on the Steam Deck. Make sure your update channel is set to Beta or Preview.
