A small new SteamOS update was released yesterday to fix a decently big issue that could stop those in Desktop mode from getting past the lockscreen. There was an issue that made the virtual keyboard inaccessible at the Desktop Mode lockscreen, which would stop people from getting in, but this update fixes that.
This comes hot on the heels of the massive SteamOS 3.8 update on Steam Deck, which brings in tons of changes, including an updated graphics driver, Linux kernel, Arch base, Steam Machine support, and fixes galore.
