The creator of the Slime Rancher franchise (Monomi Park) just announced that Slime Rancher 2 will get a full release on September 23, as it’s exiting early access.

The digital edition of Slime Rancher 2 will be available for PC via Steam and the Epic Games Store. New content and gameplay features, such as Quantum Drones and multiple additional blueprints offering decor variants, gadgets, and upgrades, will also arrive in the game with the full launch. Players will get a new portion of the Labyrinth to uncover new secrets in Rainbow Island, along with new puzzles to solve.

Monomi Park has also shared a Launch trailer for Slime Rancher 2.

Slimer Rancher 2 received the “Best Early Access Launch” at the 2022 Golden Joystick Awards and “Best 3D Visuals” at the 2023 Unity Awards. Players take the role of Beatrix LeBeau to explore the world of Rainbow Island. This island contains unknown natural resources and an avalanche of new slimes that you need to uncover. Monomi Park released multiple content updates like Powderfall Bluffs and the expansive Grey Labyrinth since early access in September 2022.

These two updates increased the size of the world; they also offered new slimes, a dynamic weather system, creative tools and gadgets, and more mysteries. New content will also be released with the full release, allowing every player to enjoy a new experience in the game world.
