Seeing Cyan Worlds bring back their original games in full on remake format has been such a blast and shows they haven't lost their step. Riven, the most recent title and sequel to Myst, has continued this, and it's so cool to see the 1997 title brought back into a new light with fully updated visuals and refined mechanics, while still keeping that charm the series always had. And with the newest update, we are getting closer to that Steam Deck Verified badge.

In the new 1.3.0 patch that was released yesterday, there were two specific fixes pertaining to the Steam Deck. We have some text that was changed specifically to change that Playable badge into a Verified one, so hopefully, this will be changed soon. There was also a small issue where two daggers could appear in the menu and highlight multiple different options at the same time, but this is now fixed!
Outside of that, this update is still very significant. We have performance improvements, lighting and animation fixes, a 150 screenshot limit in your notebook, over 400 art fixes, and a solid amount of bug fixes. There were also some VR fixes, though, that don't really apply to anything we will experience on the Steam Deck. Still, all of the issues are nice to see fixed!
You can check out the full changelog on their Steam Community Post.

Riven can be purchased on Steam for $34.99 and is rated Steam Deck Playable due to showing incorrect controller icons, but hopefully, this will be changed to Verified soon!
