On September 18th, the rhythm-based JRPG Keylocker will be available on PC. The game has a unique combination of tactical fighting and story-driven gameplay and invites players to enter the dystopian world of Saturn, which has been created by Moonana Games and published by Serenity Forge. Here, music is banned and rhythm is used to orchestrate rebellion.
Keylocker will challenge players to break down the oppressive regime that has silenced the metropolis of Saturn. The protagonist, B0B0, is an independent musician who is hell-bent on resurrecting her world's long-lost soundtrack. In this Saturnian platformer, players must traverse perilous streets, fight in strategic turn-based battles, and utilize rhythmic moves to topple the corrupt government.
The recently released trailer (see above) gives players a look at the world of Saturn, revealing the stages they will control, the tyrannical powers they will face, and the people they will free. Are you ready to start your quest to reclaim the city's sound using mechanics borrowed from Rhythm and JRPG games?
Keylocker plans to bring physical comedy, deep storytelling, and challenging strategic gameplay, drawing inspiration from timeless classics like Chrono Trigger and the Mario & Luigi RPG series. The developer promises that playing this game will be like no other, thanks to its innovative blend of rhythm-based mechanics, narrative depth, and JRPG elements.

If this style of game sounds like your jam, why not add Keylocker to your Steam Wishlist to be notified of when it launches on September 18th?
