Nioh 2 Proton GE 10-25

A new Proton GE update was released today with some great updates for multiple games. Videos in Nioh 2 will be working again, and protonfixes for Final Fantasy 14's launcher and Genshin Impact should fix them from not working. There were also some texture fixes for World of Warcraft clients and the Rockstar Launcher, as well as video fixes for some visual novels. And of course, we have some component updates!

  • fixed video playback in nioh 2
  • fixed broken texture regression in older WoW clients (used in private servers) + rockstar launcher
  • fixed broken video playback regression in some visual novels
  • fixed wrong version number in proton script
  • protonfix added for ff14 launcher not working with winewayland
  • protonfix added for genshin impact non-steam version game open crash
  • protonfix added for soulbringer (all versions)
  • wine updated to latest bleeding edge
  • dxvk updated to latest git
  • vkd3d-proton updated to latest git
  • em-10/wine-wayland patches updated
