There were a couple of games I remember coming out around the time I started SteamDeckHQ, and Norco is one of them. I never had a chance to fully play through it, but I do remember the point and click mystery because it was one of the more critically acclaimed games of one of the most impactful years of my life. Still, the game is awesome, and the newest update makes it a lot more awesome on the Steam Deck.

While the new patch isn't specifically targeting the Steam Deck, the team did mention it directly in the patch notes when discussing the controller improvements. Some of these improvements should be significantly helpful and make the experience so much better, including new input diagrams when entering gameplay, better behavior when selecting elements in a scene, tighter boat controls, and many other small improvements that should make it feel more satisfying when using a gamepad.
There were also some general improvements implemented as well, like buttons providing more visual feedback, cleaned-up background artwork, changes to some of the dialog for clarity, the drone icons have been replaced with animated sprites, and you can now manually cancel out almost all of the "look" dialogues, and UI sound effects drops have been fixed.
There is a bit more to this update, and you can check out the full changelog for it via their Steam Community Post.

Norco is available on Steam for $14.99 and is rated Verified.
