Yesterday, a new Steam Deck Beta Client update was released that added in a solid amount of new improvements, as well as a nice feature for those who use Bluetooth devices! We are now able to choose which devices can wake the Deck from sleep and a bug was fixed that could cause UI to show incorrect data for devices, but the best aspect is the ability to now see battery information for Bluetooth devices when looking at the Bluetooth settings and in the quick access menu.
We also have some library fixes, like the app activity feed being more reliable, Steam Family improvements, like a "date acquired" games that other family members own and a copy count badge for games that multiple family members have copies of, and some minor improvements across Steam Input, Remote Play, and the Friends/Chat windows.
You can check out the Beta for yourself by going to the System settings and changing your update channel to "Beta."

While that's great for Bluetooth users, unfortunately I don't think that translates well for wireless adapter users like me. I always play with my 8BitDo on Big Picture over a 2.4G wireless adapter because it allows for analog inputs as opposed to Bluetooth, so no remaining controller battery info is provided and no waking up the device when turning the controller on, but at least the Bluetooth front has seen some improvements after all this time..
