Did you ever wake up one morning and think "What if you combined a gun and an umbrella"? Well the folks over at doinksoft and Devolver Digital definitely have, and earlier today, a new gameplay trailer for Gunbrella was released to show just how we can expect to use this fine contraption.

The trailer starts off with the protagonist on a boat, talking to a man giving information about who to go to and find out who killed your wife. Right after that, we get right into the action where we see tons of jumping around, destroying enemies, floating, deflecting projectiles, and even minecart rides. All of this across different varied gritty, noir-themed levels. I could go further and describe more, but I highly recommend watching the video above as it looks epic!

Gunbrella is an upcoming action-adventure that will see us as a gruff woodsman on a quest for revenge, taking on ghouls, cops, cultists, and more. You will engage in side-scrolling action and make full use of abilities only a Gunbrella can give you like gliding, swinging, dashing, and diving. Investigate unusual locations, interrogate weird characters, and salvage materials to get different ammo and upgrade your arsenal. It's time to find out who killed your wife and put an end to their existence.

Gunbrella is an upcoming game and can be wishlisted now on Steam with a demo available. It has also been rated Verified for the Steam Deck and I can confirm the demo works wonderful so far.
