Blood Message is an upcoming single-player, story-driven action-adventure that players will be able to play on PC and Consoles. NetEase Games and 24 Entertainment 临安 (Lin’an) Studio revealed that the game is in development. The game features survival combat with an Eastern storytelling theme. It is powered by the Unreal 5 Engine and enhanced with proprietary tools and technologies developed by the studio.

This AAA single-player title allows players to join the uprising in Dunhuang. The goal in the game is to take control of a nameless messenger (a father) and his young son in this action-adventure. You take the role on a perilous eastward journey to deliver a message, as captured in the crossfire of uprising and driven by loyalty to both family and country. Delivering the message is crucial as it contains the fate of their war-torn homeland. NetEase showcased a Reveal trailer for Blood Message, diving deep into the story, world, and combat.

Make your way to the treacherous 3,000-li odyssey back to Chang’an to set the final years of the Tang Dynasty. You need to traverse through the desolate deserts and the vast wilderness of East and Central Asia to survive in the brutal terrain and harsh world. A cultural landmark of Chinese history was provided in the last years of the Tang Dynasty. Customs, culture, and the era’s rich lore are enclosed in the Dynasty.

Blood Message allows players to dive into realistic combat, along with survival and stealth mechanics. Get ready to explore the themes of family, honor, sacrifice, and cultural identity. The father and son need to go through an abandoned world that is basically split between duty to the country and family love. The game is all about the unsung heroes, as the world already knows the story of emperors and generals.
