Yogscast Games and indie developers Terahard Studios have partnered and announced that Monster Mop Up is releasing on August 14 for PC. In this PowerWash Simulator meets Ghostbusters mash-up, players drop into rooms that are filled with disarray, and the main goal is to restore the buildings to their original state while tracking down and saving the cute Ragamuffins.

Hired by the Ministry of Monster Concealment, Custodians must explore, clean, and dispose of all waste and secure the mischievous Ragamuffins who have, literally, left their mark. This does seem simple, but these creatures can unleash a wave of mess and mayhem. Make the journey even more exciting by making a team of up to six players who need to work together. Make sure to utilize the environment to gain benefits when equipped with a bucket, mop, and trap. Use secret interactions like magic orbs to contain the threat and get access to upgrades, making it easier to clean, burn, and flush.
Simon Byron, Managing Director, Yogscast Games, says, “We fell in love with Monster Mop Up the moment we saw it, and what’s not to love about a Ragamuffin that poops everywhere. Terahard Studios has created the perfect blend of a real-world cleaning sim and supernatural ghostbusting escapades where every clean-up is different, giving hours of endless fun whether playing alone or with friends.”
Unlock new rooms through different levels and challenges to progress in Monster Mop Up. These challenges will vary from family homes to restaurants, mansions, and hotels. Players can gain rewards once they achieve a good cleaning rating. Use these rewards to upgrade equipment or decorate your home with several unique items. Visit the Bazaar of Human Stuff to flex your progression. You can use it to create the perfect pad for the Ragamuffins.
Monster Mop Up is available to wishlist on Steam, and a demo is now available to play.
