A big collaboration between LONESTAR and Into the Breach is coming, as announced by Developer Math Tide and publisher Thermite Games. We will get a new deadly boss, along with several dynamic events and a pilot. The Steam Summer Sale event will bring this update on June 27.

LONESTAR

The newest content is from Into the Breach, the hit strategy tactical game. A pilot from Into the Breach in the crossover is featured as a playable character in LONESTAR. Players can select one of two special components with the help of Abe’s inherent talent and Mech Weapons. Electric Whip and Flamethrower are the iconic mechanics in his part tool. Using the part tool allows you to gain new strategic tools in your bounty.

VEK is a new boss enemy that is coming in the crossover update. Goo makes its entry in the LONESTAR via a dimensional rift. All you need to do is track and defeat VEK before it deals much damage. Dynamic events are also introduced in this content update. The first one is based on an emergency scenario, and the other one revolves around an unusual “vacation.” The random event system will include these enhancing the variety. Thermite Games has also released a trailer for the upcoming event, confirming the crossover.

The producer at Math Tide says, “Into the Breach has been one of our favorite games—not only for its gameplay but also its elegant design philosophy. It was a major inspiration that led us to pursue indie game development. We are honored to bring this collaboration to life and hope players enjoy the content as much as we enjoyed creating it."

LONESTAR has already sold more than 100,000 copies and earned a 91% rating on Steam. The game was released on January 18, 2024. Backpack Battles and Magicraft were in the last crossover that was celebrated with the fans. The discount for this update will be available on June 27th.
