Killing Floor 3 has had a bit of a rocky road to release, with the game being delayed earlier this year after poor beta tests. But now, the game is almost ready to launch, and Tripwire Interactive has given us a third and final Developer Diary before the game releases on July 24th.

The video shows us the inspirations that the dev team had for the setting of Killing Floor 3, along with how the team brought it to life with their map and sound design. We're also getting a sneak peek at what is coming to Killing Floor 3 as part of their post-launch plans.

Beyond that, there was also an IGN Live interview with the game director, where you can hear even more about Killing Floor 3.

The game is set 70 years after the events of Killing Floor 2, where megacorp Horzine is working to create an obedient army of bio-engineered creatures known as Zeds. It's down to you and up to 5 teammates to put a stop to the horde and save humanity.

Killing Floor 3 is now available to wishlist on Steam. You can also pre-order the game if you wish. It might be a bit of a tough ask to run on the Steam Deck, but we'll see how it goes for this one.
