Jotunnslayer: Hordes of Hel looks like one of the more interesting roguelike survivor games out there. With a Norse Mythology aesthetic, you will select from a roster of characters, defining your builds to overcome the in-game missions and challenges you will face. It should also be getting a little bit better to play on the go with its latest update.

The new update adds a good chunk of content, as well as one change for the Steam Deck. To help with performance on the Deck, V-Sync has been disabled. The update doesn't go into detail on what this fixes or why, but anything that helps performance on the Steam Deck is something I will appreciate in the end.

The 0.5.0 patch includes some great new content, including the new Helheim map, a new god, and a new class. We also have an overhauled skill shop UI. Gold will now automatically convert into Skill Points after each run, and the initial cost and scaling of skill points have been reduced. We also have new video settings to change, balancing for different classes and skills, bug fixes, and new accessibility options for flash intensity and VFX opacity.

You can check out the full changelog for the update via their Steam Community Post.
