Hot Wheels Unleshed 2: Turbocharged is getting a brand new collaboration with the most explosive, non-sensical car-focused series that exists today, Fast & Furious! If you were expecting this one, then good on you because I had no idea these two franchises would mesh like this!

In this massive collaboration, you can expect brand new iconic Fast & Furious cars, as wellas brand new mechanics to bring that destructive charm over too. Other than boosting and drifting, you will be able to jump and double jump, which will allow you to dodge obstacles and any cars trying to take you out. You will also be able to use a Lateral Dash to channel your strength to collide with other cars and force them off the track.

All of these will come in handy on the 5 brand new environments that will be added with this collaboration. These locations range from an old-fashioned arcade, to a wild-west inspired minigolf, and even a Gas Station diner.

Hot Wheels Unleashed 2: Turbocharged is the upcoming sequel to the family-friendly racing game. With over 130 vehicles, you will race against your friends and family in 5 new locations. The sequel will have new mechanics, new varieties of vehicles with dedicated skill trees, a new campaign, and a brand new Livery Editor to design your own car. This will be a racing game you won't want to miss!

Hot Wheels Unleashed 2: Turbocharged will be released on October 19th and can be wishlisted on Steam now! With the minimum specs listed, it looks like it could be a bit hard to run on the Steam Deck, but the previous game, which has similar specs, has reports saying it runs quite well, so I think it is safe to assume this will too!
