I can't say I know much about Headquarters: World War 2, but it looks intriguing. It's a fast turn-based strategy game where you will need to employ tactics and manage your army across the battlefields of World War 2. Yesterday, we had a new update for the game, which fixes some settings and other issues, as well as changes how the UI scales on the Steam Deck.

In this update, we have a multitude of fixes and improvements, and one of them specifically deals with the Steam Deck. We have a new default UI scale for those playing on Deck, set at 75% so everything can be visible on the smaller screen. This may not help the text being so small, which is why the game is rated Playable instead of Verified, but at least everything is visible!

On top of the UI scaling, we do have some other fixes. The Bias setting is now working, which allows a modifier to be added for all incoming prestige for each player in a multiplayer game. UI issues have been fixed when using 100% scale on resolutions higher than 1920x1080, and some multiplayer screens have been fixed. There were also some fixes with the Overwatch icon and symbols.
