Today, we had two presentations back to back. Nintendo started off the day with its 40 minute showcase, announcing Pikmin 4 among other things, and Sony showcasing upcoming games in a 20 minute show. While Sony showed off some awesome games, with some console exclusives, half the games they showed are coming to PC as well. I expected more exclusives being shown, maybe some Spider-Man 2, but nope! Here are the games shown off that are coming to PC and Steam:

Tekken 8

The follow up to the incredible Tekken 7, Tekken 8 was announced and coming in like a storm. The game was shown off first in the showcase and man...it looks incredible. What's more, the footage you see in the trailer is rendering in real-time, which represents the game's actual quality more than a pre-rendered scene. This was confirmed by the director Katsuhiro Harada on the Playstation Blog. And yes, the game is coming to Steam as well!

(Yakuza) Like a Dragon: Ishin!

A remake of the 2013 Japan-exclusive game, Yakuza: Ishin!, is going worldwide. Not only is this 1860's Yakuza spinoff coming to the US, it is also the first title to be built using UE4! The game will release in February of next year on PS4/5, Xbox One/Series S and X, and PC through Steam.

Hogwarts Legacy

Well we already knew this one was coming to PC, and it already has a Steam store page, but they showed the game off a bit more. And with the showcase only showing 10 games, it is still significant! The PS5 will be getting a console-exclusive quest (boo) but at least it isn't the full game!

Pacific Drive

"Pacific Drive is a first-person driving survival game set in the pacific northwest region of the United States. With your car as your only companion, you'll travel deep into the Olympic Exclusion Zone - a surreal and mysterious place that's been abandoned for decades."

That is how the game is described and DAMN does it look good. While the trailer doesn't show it in the end card, the official website for Pacific Drive does confirm the game will be coming to PC as well, though does not specifically mention Steam. Here is hoping!

Synduality

A new third-person sci-fi shooter is coming from Bandai Namco! Armed with your AI mech, you must fight to survive in this dystopian future. The game is confirmed to be coming to PC through Steam.

And that is it! There was only 10 games shown at the PS State of Play with 2 being console exclusive (could come to PC later), 2 coming to PSVR 2, and the last being God of War Ragnarok (which looks absolutely insane). None of these games have Steam store pages yet, excluding Hogwarts Legacy, so be on the lookout! We will be doing our best to cover these games on Steam Deck as well.
